Agriculture in the Park

80% of the surface area of the Park of the Euganean Hills is cultivated land. This Park is an entirely unique reality, shaped over the millennia by human activity: vineyards were already cultivated in the Hills in the Iron Age, while olive trees have been present since Roman times. The Park Authority is in charge of guaranteeing and promoting the valuable productions typical of this area, for a balanced development of the local economy.
