Archaeological sites within the Park territory
One of the most ancient and interesting archaeological sites of Colli Euganei is the recently studied Neolithic site by Castelnuovo di Teolo.
Near the small Costa lake - a very interesting place from the point of view of nature and ecology - archaeological finds show that stilt houses were built in the place during the Bronze Age: they were stable settlements, whose economy was mostly based on agriculture and breeding. An explicative board has been recently placed by the site, describing the finds that are kept at Museo Nazionale Atestino in Este.
